It is not less in status than the Sunan works. Were it to be added to the five works instead of Ibn Majah it would be appropriate because it is better in many ways.   (Ibn Hajr al-Asqalani)

Shaykh is known East & West for his prolific travels & as a pioneer for sanad revival worldwide. Ustadha Umm Ibrahim al-Dimashqiyyah 

She was born and raised on the renowned Qasiyoun Mountain in the well-revered Salihiyah Quarter of Damascus and preserved from the hustle and bustle of city life, she excelled in her studies of the sacred sciences. 

After her marriage, she has been blessed with the rare opportunity to travel along with her husband to numerous countries, staying and studying at the hands of scores of Muslim scholars in the Islamic World who have recognized her caliber and bestowed her with Ijazaat (licenses) in many sciences. 

Ustadha has received licenses from over 300 scholars worldwide, making her one of the leading female students of Hadith in our times.
