This work is the shortest of the three famous Mujam works of the famous 4th century Greater Syrian Muhaddith Imam Abu Qasim al-Tabrani (r) and it contains approximately 1200 narrations that the Imam narrates from over 1000 teachers.

Abdul Haq al-Siddiqui (Senior 95 year old Afghani Muhaddith who graduated over 70 years ago and one of the last remaining students to have studied with Allamah Shaykh Husain Ahmed al-Madani (d.1957) who *read the entire work with Shaykhul Hind Mahmood al-Hasan al-Qasimi.
