Synopsis

​

This is a short treatise written by one of the greatest Muhaditheen of the ummah; Imam Abu Dawud al-Sijistani.

​

The Imam discusses in detail the importance of his renowned Sunan work and the methAodology he has followed in compiling it in contrast to other famous works of the muhaditheen.

​

Class participants will learn to appreciate the distinctive methodologies of hadith scholars and the Fuqaha (jurisconsults) and the rationale behind their variant approaches.
