This is the fundamental primer in the Science of Usool al-Fiqh particular to the Shafi Madhab. It was authored by one of the greatest scholars in the field of Usool who had inherited his understanding in this subject from Imam Mohammed ibn Idris al-Shafi’ee the foremost authority and the first to author in this complex yet fundamental science.
